A bit off topic but OK

Heat up.

Use sliced bread. Take two slices, put dabs of butter on one side of each (I do 5 like a 5 dot domino)

Put one slice on base, put dollop of filling on bread over where the dips in the pie maker are.

put other slice on top.

close. the pie maker will squeeze the bread slices together to form pie

I then reopen as the seal does not always work and we don`t want a mess like cheese burning onto the pie maker.

take bread that has oozed over the edge off and use this + bread from another slice to fill in any holes. it is doughy so blends in.

Close up again.

The pie sandwich lets off a lot steam, so don`t worry. Allegedly a light switches off when a pie is ready but watch and check and use your judgement.

Have fun and experiment.

Be careful when cleaning, as you know hot cheese etc comes off easier before it sets, but hotplates can burn.
