Productchat.com contacted the retailer involved.

They say:

They acted immediatly to put things rights as soon as they read the customers email.

The customer got a "no problem" email and was copied in on immediatly sent emails to the zap cap manufacturer and the warehouse.

The customer said that only the cardboard sleeves around the product were damaged.

IE: the zap caps themselves were unharmed.

Had the zap caps been harmed they woud have been replaced.

Some package damage often happens in mail order, and if the zap caps are to be gift wrapped the cardboard is not needed, though the retailer is replacing the cardboard.

This is the retailers first complaint about how zap caps arrive.

The bag is a heavy gauge protective document wallet, which is standard use in mail order to protect robust items in transit. Zap Caps are very robust.

The sender has no idea how goods arrive unless the recipient tells them. With the feedback from this customer they say they will now ship zap caps in more protective packaging.

They are stung that a public complaint was made at the same time as the private complaint.

This gave them absolutly no chance to make things right and was unfair.

They say that a customer does not know who they are dealing with until things go wrong and that they treat customers like friends.
