I just found your message about linking to the pda. I had trouble but resolved it by following these simple instructions. 1. check plugs... if you know they are connected disregard this. 2. open software and click the data sync button on the menu. 3. safe your current profile. 4. select comm port. 4. computer will begin sync process... it will state process begun(waiting). 5. in home time mode on pda hit link and then enter. 6. computer will ask you to create a new profile. click yes and create profile. 7. let the computer do the rest... 8. click finish when finished.
It seems like a lot to do but this is what worked for me.
For those that do not have the software... you need it to get this to work. Software comes with the pda in a CD form.
